Winterbreeze Construction - Update

The Quest Library is moved into its new Building and with that i have added many new Books and Guides (Thank you Lady Ghost for all your help !)

Also the old Quest Library now features a botanic and aquaristic Library.
Once finished it will house all the Runes and information concerning plantgrowing and fishtending.
(thanks Hunter Moon for helping with the Guide :) )
I will also errect some vendors in there selling seeds and some other stuff.


I hope it will all turn out as grand as planned, sadly due to RL renovations it will take a bit longer then i had planned.

New Quest Library!

As some may have noticed, I moved the Quest Library.
It is now located behind the Main Library in the new Building.

Sorry for any inconvinience this may cause, but frankly... I was out of room in the little Building and couldn't add anymore Runebooks.

The previous Quest Library will become our newest addition , a fun little Botanical Library.

Village will be growing !!!

Incase you have not noticed yet, we have 2 new additions to the Village.
A large Tower and a medium size house.

The Questlibrary will be relocationg to the medium house behind the Large Library and the current Questlibrary, since we are allmost out of Lockdowns there.

Felucca T-Map Books done

2 sets now , one for Goodman's Site and one for the folks that prefer stratics T-Map system.

The new books are located right where the old set was .

Winterbreeze is proud to be part of the Cultural Center we have built in the last few years there.

Currently we house the Winterbreeze Museum, the lore Museum and Sakkarah's Mansion there.

Felucca T-Map Runes undergoing Maintenance

I am checking all the T-Map Runes for Felucca and will be adding a Stratics-UOAutomap Set for Felucca to match the Trammelset I have done.

New Skill Guides

All done :)

Its been a hard couple of weeks , but here they are.
An all new skill Guides set.

I tried to create the runebooks without as much explanation as possible.
They should be easy to use and self explantetory tp the most part.

The barding Guide does have an extra book since it was impossible to mark the runes with everything one needs to know.

Skill Books Currently under Maintenance

I am creating a whole new Set of Runebooks, dedicated to skill training, so the couple runebooks I had out there on the subject are unavailable for the moment.

I hope it won't be too disruptive but I did not have much out there anyways, so I hope it wont be too much of an issue.

Officially a town !

Winterbreeze Village was granted a townstone.

I logged on this morning and noticed something out of place at the bottom of my screen, so i went to check it out, and sure enough its our Townstone!

Beautifully done its sitting in front of the 2 big librarys, telling people about the Village.

I am thrilled!

Lore Museum Open

The doors have finally opened,

After about 4 years of cross shard trading, research and lots of help from friends i have opened the Lore Museum.

It is located right next door to the Winterbreeze Museum in Zento.

All of it was possible thanks to some very good people, all of them proud members of the Atlantic comunity.

And with that , Winterbreeze Library has a new Set of Runebooks on the Second Floor of the Library (left side) and a Soulforge open to all in the School of Arts and Crafts.

As the expansion rolls on I will be adding more Books as they are marked.

Player written Books moving to Zento

I will be moving the playerwritten books to the Future Lore Museum in Zento.

They will not be on Display there for a bit , until its all set up and ready for the opening.

The 3rd floor of the Library will become a display for special books in Game.

Rune Book Woes

So I am still working on replacing all the runebooks with the pretty new neon books I have gotten.

But what a pain ...

Also updated all the Lable books on the Floor, look much nicer now.

Memories....

Hubby and I spent the Week at a friends place in Berlin...
We met in 2003 playing Dark Age of Camelot.

I don't like pvp in ultima but DaoC was the game I loved to rvr in. I played a Cleric (Avenhar) and I had an Ice wizzy (Aalia.....what a surprise)

Unlike UO DaoC wasn't a solo game until the release of SI, each class needed each other, for eather damage, heals, protection or buffs. Crafters where highly thought after and it was hard and tedious to get to the high levels in crafting, in turn it was very rewarding.

Shrouded Isles did change the game some , but it was still balanced and fun.

Sadly DaoC turned out to be the game that was ruined by rather bad expansions.

At its peak times in 2004 we had up to 45 Minutes of log in Ques because the servers where so full, Relic Raids had 3000+ people defending and playing , lag was horrid, but it has been the funnest time.

Today Excalibur Server (the UK Main server) has a population of 4.

We keep running into our former Guildies all the time, everytime a new Online game is released they all flock to it trying to find the former glory DaoC had.

So far they have failed to find it....

I still hope for the day EA Mythink and Goa can come together and relelas the Classic DaoC no "Classic server" with the new Races and frontier, no ToA , no other expansion....just Daoc .... the way it was ment to be.

Busy Summer

Well not much is new at the Library,

I have added an ancecteral gravestone for everyone to use and of course as usual we have the Runebooks for all the ongoing stuff published.
There is one for ToT on the stairs and one for the EM Storyline, both are on display on the entrance stairs of the Library.

Andra and I have been busy with getting the Stratics Atlantic Sidebar up to date, wich has been published and is up and running for 2 weeks now.

Other then that, it's working on stratics pages...

Nothing New

Well, not much is going on in Ultima Online at the Moment.
The Magincia Ghosts are still wandering the streets in the city, the monthly cheese race is doing well and Brit Bank is finally coming back to life thanks to Tomas.

Seems like everyone is waiting for the next big publish to see what the Devs have in store for us.

So its back to waiting...

Easter Weekend

What a special Easter Weekend it was !
First we had a wonderfull outcome at the scavenger hunt and a fun Picknick after.

Lots of happy Folks and the Bonnet Hunt was a hoot.

Then when i was finally ready to log, the Easter Bunny appeared at the Library and stayed to chat.
A very polite bunny it was...
